The club
Red sash, hills football
Emerald Junior Football Club has been the junior Bombers of the Dandenong Ranges since 1953 — a family club with a new home at Worrell Reserve.
A proud history
For more than seventy seasons, EJFC has given junior footballers in Emerald and the surrounding hills the chance to play Australian Rules in a safe, supportive environment. We take the field in the red and black guernsey design made famous by Essendon — which is why the nickname here is the Bombers.
The club is run entirely by volunteers. More than 150 local families cover game days, training nights, canteen, and the Sunday meals that keep the rooms full in winter.
We play in Outer East Football Netball, from Auskick through to Under 18 boys and girls. If you live in the hills and you have a child who wants a game, you are in the right place.

Worrell Reserve
New rooms, same club
The brand-new clubrooms and sporting complex are open. Change rooms, kitchen, social space, and a proper home for Auskick through to Under 18s. Come in after training. Stay for Sunday meals. Treat it like yours.
